This writ brings here for review a libel filed by the petitioner, a Canadian corporation and owner of the steamship Cavelier, against the respondent, the United States Government, to recover, under the provisions of the Public Vessels Act, 1925, 43 Stat. 1112, 1 damages alleged to have been suffered by the Cavelier due to the negligent operation of a public vessel of the United States.
