SCHEINDLIN, District Judge.
Joseph Shanahan (“Shanahan”) appeals the January 8, 1998 Order of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on the ground that the Bankruptcy Court’s denial of his motion to lift the automatic stay was an abuse of discretion.
