Ferguson, Judge:
Arraigned and tried before a general court-martial' convened at Fort Polk, Louisiana, the accused was convicted, upon his pleas of guilty, of four specifications of absence without leave, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 86, 10 USC § 886. He was sentenced to bad-conduct discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement at hard labor for eighteen months.
