SULLIVAN, Chief Judge.

Appellant was tried by a special court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members at Fuerth, Germany, during July and August 1990. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana; possession of marijuana; and distribution of that drug, in violation of Articles 81 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 881 and 912a, respectively.
