MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

VRATIL, District Judge.

Plaintiff Maxine Mehus, head volleyball coach at Emporia State University (“ESU”), alleges that ESU has violated the Equal Pay Act (“EPA”), 29 U.S.C. § 206(d), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.1 Specifically, plaintiff alleges that ESU has paid her less than similarly situated male counterparts for equal work which requires similar effort, skill and responsibility, performed under similar working conditions, in violation of the EPA.
