ERROR TO THE SUPREME COURT OP THE STATE OE MISSOURI. This was an action brought in'a-state court of Missouri to recover damages for injuries to steamboats of the plaintiff below, caused by striking upon the piers of a bridge across the Missouri River, constructed by the defendant. Yerdict'and judgment for plaintiff, which was affirmed by the Supreme Court of the State. Defendant sued out this writ of error. The case is stated in the opinion of the court.

This is a writ of error to the Supreme Court of the State of Missouri to review a judgment of that court affirming a judgment of the Circuit Court of Jackson County in said State against the plaintiff in error.
