OPINION OF THE COURT

Respondent was admitted to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in the courts of this State by this court on March 9, 1942.

On July 14, 1980 respondent was convicted, on jury verdict, in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey of the crime of conspiracy to defraud the United States (US Code, tit 18, § 371) by paying kickbacks to employees of the General Services Administration *129(GSA).
