SWEENEY, Judge.
“Bad things happen if you fail to pay federal income taxes when due.” Hinck v. United States, — U.S.-,-, 127 S.Ct. 2011, 2013, 167 L.Ed.2d 888 (2007). Such is the situation here. Plaintiff, as a federal *213government retiree, receives annuity payments from the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund (“retirement fund”).
