OPINION
BROOKSHIRE, Justice.
On January 25, 1990, in the 75th District Court of Liberty County the appellant was convicted by a jury of the felony offense of possession of methamphetamine of less than 28 grams. The punishment was assessed by the jury at four years imprisonment and a fine of $500.
The appellant’s only point of error contends that the trial court erred by overruling appellant’s oral motion in limine and abused its discretion by admitting testimony before the jury of an alleged extraneous offense committed by appellant.
