Earl M. Mitchell brought suit against the defendant bank to recover for the loss of certain federal savings bonds which were alleged to have been taken by an unauthorized person from a safe-deposit box rented by defendant to plaintiff. The issues raised by the pleadings were submitted to a jury which found for the defendant.
