Appellant, Tracy Donell Jf Simmons, was charged with the crime of possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver. After the circuit court denied his motion to suppress, appellant entered a conditional plea of guilty to the lesser-included offense of possession of cocaine and was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment. On appeal, he argues that the circuit court erred in denying his motion to suppress because the cocaine was the fruit of his illegal detention by a police officer.
