Lorenzo C. Coleman (appellant) was convicted of possession of cocaine. He alleges on appeal that the trial judge erred in admitting a certificate of analysis because the Commonwealth failed to mail or deliver a copy of the certificate, upon his request, as required by Code § 19.2-187. Because appellant requested a copy of the certificate in his motion for discovery, endorsed the discovery order which directed that all discovery would take place in the Commonwealth’s attorney’s office, and failed to appear at the prosecutor’s office for discovery of the certificate in accord…
