In this appeal, we consider whether the Commercial Real Estate Broker’s Lien Act, Code §§ 55-526 aind 55-527 (the Broker’s Lien Act), permits a commercial real estate broker to record and enforce a lien against rents on property after the property has been transferred to a subsequent purchaser.
