Plaintiff-appellant State of Hawai‘i (the prosecution) appeals from the September 27, 2000 order of the Second Circuit Court, the Honorable Artemio C. Baxa presiding, granting defendants-appellees Kristine K. Kaleo-hano and Leanda M. Rawlins’s [hereinafter, collectively, the defendants1] motion to suppress evidence.
