MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
SCHEINDLIN, District Judge.
Plaintiff, William P. Shannon, brought this action pursuant to the New York State Human Rights Law (“NYSHRL”), N.Y. Exec. Law § 286, and the New York City Human Rights Law (the “City law”), N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 8-107, alleging that the defendant, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (“Fireman’s Fund”), unlaw fully terminated him because of his age. 1 The case was tried before a jury and on December 22, 2000, the jury returned a verdict in favor of Shannon. 2 During pretrial proceedings, the parties agreed that in the event Shannon prevailed…
