This putative class-action lawsuit arises from the sale of $10 billion of mortgage passthrough certificates (“Certificates”), a type of mortgage-backed security (“MBS”), by entities related to J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. pursuant to a registration statement dated April 27, 2007 and incorporated prospectus supplements (collectively, the “Offering Documents”).
