The appellant, Thomas S. Mitchell, appeals from an order of the District Court for Douglas County, Nebraska, dismissing Mitchell’s petition in error. We affirm.
Mitchell was employed as a deputy sheriff by the County of Douglas. On August 5, 1980, while running a “combat action course,” he suffered a myocardial infarction which resulted in his being totally disabled and unable to perform his duties with the Douglas County sheriff’s office.
