In this certified appeal, the defendants, Bic Corporation (Bic), and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, appeal from the Appellate Court’s judgment affirming the decision of the workers’ compensation commissioner for the fourth district (commissioner) in favor of the plaintiff, Jacqueline Cable, on her claim of discriminatory discharge from employment. See Cable v. Bic Corp., 79 Conn. App 178, 830 A.2d 279 (2003).
