I. INTRODUCTION
On September 10, 2001, the Equal. Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) filed a complaint against Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc., and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. (collectively, “Morgan Stanley”) alleging employment discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.
