MEMORANDUM OPINION

AMY BERMAN JACKSON, District Judge.

Plaintiff Wayne L. Bridgeforth brings this action against defendant Ken Salazar, Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Interior, under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., claiming racial discrimination and retaliation by his employer, the United States Park Police. Defendant has moved for summary judgment [Dkt. # 21].
