On December 5, 1972, plaintiff appellant, Iris Sales Company, filed this action on relation of the State of Ohio and as a representative of a class consisting of all taxpayers of Cuyahoga County during the period of the complaint. The complaint alleges that the defendants, George Voinovich, County Auditor; Frank M. Brennan, County Treasurer; the Board of Tax Appeals; and the Board of Revision of Cuyahoga County, in violation of their statutory duties, established and maintained a discriminatory tax classification for country clubs and golf courses located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
