Pending before the Court is the Motion for Partial Summary Judgment [doc. # 67] of Defendant Otter Valley Foods, Inc. (“Otter Valley”), requesting summary judgment on Count Two of the Second Amended Complaint of Plaintiff Aliki Foods, LLC (“Aliki”). Otter Valley argues that Count Two, alleging negligence, is barred by the economic loss doctrine, as articulated by the Connecticut Supreme Court in Flagg Energy Development Corporation v.
