SCHELLHAS, Judge.
Appellant township challenges the district court’s grant of summary judgment in respondents’ action to register title to an area of land that includes a portion of a beach. Appellant claims that the beach is public land. The district court concluded that appellant is estopped from claiming that the beach is public land because in previous registration actions brought by adjoining landowners, appellant did not answer or defend against the actions.
