The petitioner, Bernard Bewry, appeals following the denial by the habeas court of his petition for certification to appeal from the dismissal of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the court improperly (1) *548denied his petition for a writ of habeas corpus1 and (2) denied his petition for certification to appeal. On the basis of our examination of the record and briefs, we conclude that the court properly denied the petition for certification to appeal. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal.
