_ The parties to these consolidated appeals are John L. Lewis, Charles A. Owen, and Josephine Roche, as Trustees of the United Mine Workers of America Welfare and Retirement Fund; Benedict Coal Corporation; United Mine Workers of America; and United Mine Workers-°f America, District 28'. For economy the parties will be referred to, respee-tively, as the Trustees, Benedict, the International Union, and District 28 (and the latter two collectively as the Unions).
