Michael Clay stands convicted of capital murder for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. He contends a confession he made to police authorities while he was incarcerated should have been suppressed and not admitted into evidence against him. We disagree with his argument that his waiver of his Miranda rights was not intelligently and knowingly executed and that his statement was involuntarily given.
