The appellant, Antonio Britt, was convicted of first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated robbery (merged with the murder convictions), two counts of kidnapping, and attempted first-degree murder. Britt was sentenced to a total of fife imprisonment in addition to 110 years’ imprisonment to be served consecutively. On appeal, Britt raises numerous issues. We hold that the trial court committed reversible error in denying Britt’s motion to suppress certain statements that were taken from him in violation of his right to a first appearance without unnecessary…
