Collins testified that he was clerk of the district court of Bryan county, Okla.; that in 1909 a prosecution was pending in said court against R. First. Much of the transcript of the record of this case is made up of carbon copies on onionskin paper which are so indistinct as to be almost unintelligible. The same is true of the copies of the brief of appellant which have reached this court. It is the duty of counsel to see that the transcript of the record and copies of their brief are typewritten so plainly that they can be easily read. The indistinct manner in which the typewriting was done in much of this record, and also in the brief of counsel for appellant, has forced us to work several days longer on this case than we should…
