Following the trial court’s denial of her motion to suppress evidence, defendant entered a conditional guilty plea to unlawful possession of methamphetamine, ORS 475.894, reserving her right to appeal the trial court’s ruling on that motion. ORS 135.335(3). The trial court denied suppression on two alternative, and independently sufficient, grounds: (1) the search of defendant’s purse was lawful as within the scope of a warrant to search the premises for evidence relating to a burglary; and (2) defendant validly consented to the search of her purse.
