In this criminal case, defendant appeals a judgment convicting him of two counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, ORS 163.415, for conduct involving a 16-year-old girl.1 He challenges the trial court’s denial of his motion in limine to exclude evidence of his prior conduct toward the victim. In light of the Supreme Court’s decision in State v. Williams, 357 Or 1, 346 P3d 455 (2015), defendant argues that the trial court erred in failing to balance the probative value of the evidence against its potential for unfair prejudice before admitting it.
