I. INTRODUCTION

In this action, plaintiff Timothy J. Nolan (“Nolan”), contends that the defendants violated his constitutional and common law rights in connection with his removal from an Easton, Massachusetts town meeting on June 12, 2000 and the subsequent publicity concerning the incident.
