I. STATEMENT OF CASE
The plaintiff-appellee, State of Nebraska, charged the defendant-appellant, Robert Lyle Robbins, with two counts of attempted “kidnapping with the intent to terrorize.” The district court found him guilty as charged and sentenced him to consecutive terms of imprisonment for a period of not less than 2 nor more than 5 years on each count. In appealing to the Nebraska Court of Appeals, Robbins asserted the district court erred in finding the evidence sufficient to support the charges.
