I. INTRODUCTION

Pursuant to verdict, defendant-appellant, Eusebio L. Becerra, was adjudged guilty of kidnapping and of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Becerra appeals, asserting that (1) there was insufficient evidence adduced at trial to support the kidnapping conviction and (2) he received ineffective assistance of counsel at trial. Because we determine that Becerra’s claims are not supported by the record, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
