CHAPMAN, Senior Circuit Judge:

The United States brought this action in the District Court for the District of Maryland against Ancel Little (“Little”) to foreclose on certain judgment liens. Little moved for summary judgment, arguing that under Maryland law the statute of limitations had expired, and therefore, the liens were unenforceable. The government also moved for summary judgment.
