The parties have stipulated that the only issue that we need decide in the above-enti- tied four very similar adversary proceedings at this juncture is whether, pursuant to the equitable powers vested in this court by 11 U.S.C. § 105(a), we can compel the defendant-insurers, contrary to the terms of their policies, to make lump-sum payments to the Debtor on account of liabilities which the Debtor, a former manufacturer and vendor of asbestos products, contends “will inevitably become due and payable” to it under those policies.
