The appellant is the widow of John Stroup, who died in November, 1894, leaving a will by which he devised all of his property to her, consisting largely of notes and bank stock. Mr. Stroup was the sole owner of a bank at Bickland, and the defendant A. JT. Bridger, who was his son-in-law, was its cashier and principal manager; having an interest in the profits of the business.
