[1] I am satisfied that this is a case where the application of the by assessment inequitably. Originally the northerly portion of what is now the continuous street, Blondell avenue, was in use, although not legally opened, for a distance of about four blocks, leading northwardly to a station on the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. Through the northernmost block the street had a width of 50 feet, while through the three blocks to the south its width was 60 feet.
