This matter is before the court on the motion by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as Receiver for Cardinal Savings Bank, Inc. (“FDIC”) to strike pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(f) the 5th, 10th, 15th through 23rd, 27th through 30th, and 32nd affirmative defenses raised in the Answer, Counterclaim and Cross-Claim of the American Bankers Companies 1 to the First Amended Cross-Claim of the FDIC against American Bankers.
