OPINION
CARPENETI, Chief Justice.
I. INTRODUCTION
A homeowner sought a declaratory judgment that foreclosure fees were not properly included in the reinstatement amount necessary to halt foreclosure proceedings under Alaska law. The superior court concluded that the foreclosure fees were properly in*88cluded in the reinstatement amount We agree and therefore affirm.
