In this criminal matter, we decide whether ORS 41.910 requires suppression of (1) statements that defendant made during two police interviews before the police notified defendant that they had been videotaping each interview; and (2) police officer testimony that described those same statements. The trial court granted defendant’s pretrial motions to suppress both the prenotification parts of the videotape and the officers’ testimony describing defendant’s statements during those prenotification periods.
