Plaintiffs, stockholders in the defendant corporation, El Dora Oil Company, brought the action for the purpose of having canceled certain deeds of trust and chattel mortgages given by said corporation to secure the payment of certain promissory notes, aggregating eighty-five thousand dollars, in favor of defendants, John Shrader and the Ohio Valley Construction Company, a copartnership, consisting of John Shrader, Henry M. Jackson, and J. L. Campbell; for the purpose of having delivered up and cancelled seventy-five thousand shares of the capital stock of said El Dora Oil Company, issued to…
