Jose Mediavilla, a participant in several Occupy Wall Street protests that took place in downtown Manhattan in 2011 and 2012, filed a complaint asserting that his rights were violated in connection with his arrests on November 5, 2011 and November 12, 2011 by members of the New York City Police Department.
