Welch’s Laundry and Cleaners has appealed a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Commission which awarded Vera A. Clark benefits for injuries suffered in a fight with a co-worker. The Commission held that because the altercation occurred during business hours, on the employer’s premises, and as the result of a quarrel having its origin in the employment, the injuries were compensable.
