The appellant corporation instituted this suit alleging substantially that in January, 1931, it was the owner and holder of a valid and subsisting lien upon 1,600 feet of 8-inch casing which was located in the oil and gas well upon property described as the E. ½ of the N. E. ⅛ of the N. E. ⅛ of section 47, block 13, H. & G. N. R. R. Co. surveys in Wheeler county, Tex., which said lien was duly and properly registered and recorded, both in the chattel mortgage and deed records of Wheeler county, Tex.
