When the accident occurred Beebe had been the servant of the defendant for some two months, and his duties as such included the daily use of his master’s horses and cart for the delivery of ice. For this purpose he was directed to take the team each morning from his master’s stables, proceed to the route assigned him, deliver the ice as needed, and return to the stables.
