The appellee, W. J. Quick, instituted this suit in the circuit court of Lauderdale county against the appel lants, the Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company and O. K. Stewart, seeking to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained. In a collision between an automobile driven by the appellee and one belonging to the telephone company driven by the appellant Stewart, its employee. There was a verdict and judgment for eight thousand dollars against both appellants, from which judgment this appeal was prosecuted.
