Plaintiff was employed either by defendant, or the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation, or both, and was injured by an automobile, driven by another employee of one, or the other, or both of these corporations. He recovered a verdict against the Merchants Corporation, which ripened into judgment, from which it appeals-, maintaining nonliability, because, (1) it was but the agent of the Fleet Corporation and not the master of the chauffeur, and, (2) even if otherwise responsible, it was not shown that defendant was negligent, or the testimony…
