This action was brought against the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Bail way Company, hereafter called the “Milwaukee Company,” and the Chicago, St. Paul & Kansas City Bailway Company, hereafter ■' called the “Kansas City Company,” to recover for personal injuries alleged to have been caused by the concurrent negligence of the two companies resulting in a collision of trains at the Taopi crossing of the two roads.
