This civil action is based upon an accusation by the Plaintiff, Connett Collins, who contends that the Defendant, CitiMortgage, Inc. (“CitiMortgage”), violated several state and federal laws when it (1) issued an illegal mortgage loan to her in connection with a residential property in Flint, Michigan, and (2) later foreclosed on the same property. Subsequent to the filing of a complaint by Collins in the Genesee County Circuit Court of Michigan on September 5, 2012, CitiMortgage caused the removal of the case to this Court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§…
