Kilday, Judge:

A tragic incident at Forbes Air Force Base, Kansas, led to accused’s trial by general court-martial on a charge of premeditated murder, in violation of Article 118, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §918. He was convicted of the lesser included crime of unpremeditated murder under the same Article and was sentenced to dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement at hard labor for twenty-five years.
